I’ve chosen to group our ninth day in Kenya and our tenth morning in this post because we did a short game drive our last morning and I only have a few pictures. Our last day in Kenya was memorable – we witnessed a beautiful sunrise AND a beautiful sunset AND got to visit a Maasai village. The next morning, we got to see some honeymoon lions before we left!

The Maasai village was impressive – it was quite a compound! We were invited to visit their homes and chat with them. We were treated to dances by both the men and the women before we entered their village. We spent time visiting with them and seeing their goods for sale. The Maasai are incredibly talented with beadwork and we definitely made some purchases to support their village.

Overall, it was a great last day in Kenya and we were eager to fly to Uganda to begin the next part of our trip!
