Catalina Island – Jeep Tour

We had done a jeep tour before on the island, but it had been years ago, so we decided to do it again! There is a herd of buffalo that lives on the island and the last time we did a jeep tour, we saw a couple, but they were far away. This time, we saw a lot of them and they were a lot closer to our jeep! We also completely lucked out and saw a Catalina Island fox, which is a subspecies that is found only on Catalina Island. Our tour guide told us that they were about 4-6 pounds full grown, but for whatever reason that didn’t really sink in until we saw one! They are so tiny! And super adorable! On the way back to town, we were treated with a spectacular view of Avalon from above.
