Mike and I did our first photo adventure with the Creative Photo Academy last Sunday and it was such a blast! It was an all day outing – 10am to 8pm! We were originally supposed to go see wildflowers, but the bloom was already gone. Plan B was Huntington Library outside of Pasadena. Huntington Library not a library in the common sense – it’s a vast place with buildings full of art and gardens full of beauty! We spent the majority of our time in the Chinese, Japanese, and Desert Gardens, with some lily ponds and water features sprinkled in. This time, Mike took photos as well and he did a great job! This post is part one of two – my pictures in this one and Mike’s in the next!
We ended our day at Clifton’s Cafeteria in downtown LA and could best be described as an upscale cafeteria. You get your tray and move through a cafeteria line to get your food and then check out and find a seat! The owners are in the midst of renovating the building and we were lucky enough to also be able to photograph all of the interesting features inside! I can’t wait to go back when it’s all finished!
All in all, it was a great day with lots of great pictures and good eats at the end!
