Mike and I went to Forever Wild Animal Sanctuary about two hours northwest of us.  I had seen a Groupon for a guided tour, and we both love animals and we ESPECIALLY love places that take in animals that need a better home.  Forever Wild takes in all kinds of animals – most of which are from people who owned them illegally in California.  They had about 20 different venomous snakes (which are illegal in CA without certain permits), pocket pets, monkeys, and lots of big cats.  We paid a little extra to feed a couple of the big cats and it was AWESOME!  Mike fed Czar and Blue, and I got to feed Zorro and Jade.  Zorro, the black leopard, ate his so quickly that Mike didn’t get time to snap a picture of the feeding.  We were lucky that so many of the animals were willing to pose for pictures!
