Hearst Castle

Hearst Castle has been on our list to see since we moved out here!  I mean for the first reason, it has castle in the name!  Secondly, it’s the former home of William Randolph Hearst who spared no expense in creating this incredible mansion!  The inside and outside were exquisite and I was really happy with how my pictures turned out!  I think our favorite was the Roman Pool, but only because the Neptune Pool was under construction!  We had a great time touring the grounds and the house and on the bus ride back to the visitor’s center, we heard that about 5 miles up the road, there was a viewing area for elephant seals!  But that visit will be in the next post.  For now, enjoy the pictures of Hearst Castle…
